Police Hit Man in Genitals With Taser


The story:

Police accidentally hit a naked man in the genitals with a Taser after he was caught breaking windows and asking women to touch him, authorities said.

____________, 26, tried to run away when the police approached so one of them shot their Taser, police said. But one of the gun's prongs accidentally hit the man's genitals and got stuck, the officer said.

"The Taser is relatively accurate, but when someone is moving like that, it doesn't matter if you have a Taser, or a pistol. (Officers) can't aim,"

The man was treated at a hospital before being taken to jail. He was charged with indecent exposure, resisting an officer and criminal damage.

Call of nature saves man from garbage crusher


The story:

_______ (Reuters) - A man who fell asleep in a trash container after a bout of heavy drinking had a lucky escape after he was tipped into the hydraulic press of a garbage truck, police said on Wednesday.

The 47-year-old was only saved from being crushed when the truck's driver stopped to urinate before continuing his round. He quickly switched off the press after he heard swearing coming from the truck's interior.

"The man admitted drinking a lot of booze the previous night and climbing into the container to seek refuge from the rain where he passed out," the police said in a statement. The man, from _______, suffered only a minor head injury and mild shock.

Shoplifter's brush with the law..


The story:

_______ (Reuters) - Police in ________ arrested a shoplifter who filled his pants with 39 tubes of toothpaste, authorities in _______ said on Wednesday.

Police said store detectives in a supermarket chased the 37-year-old man after they saw him stuff the tubes into his pants, and forced him to hand over his booty.
"As far as I know, it was back on the shelves soon after," a police spokesman said.
